Program details

Come and be seduced by the eternal charm of Tuscany’s cities of art, where monuments are nothing short of beautiful and every stone exudes centuries of history with a private tour to Siena, San Gimignano and Monteriggioni.

Highlights
- Visit three Unesco World Heritage sites
- Walk within the 13th century walls of Monteriggioni
- Enjoy a private tour of Siena
- Drive through the delightful hills of the Chianti countryside

From Florence we drive through the rolling Chianti hills to Siena. On arrival your private guide will give you a tour of the city centre; along the small medieval streets to admire splendid palaces as well as the Cathedral where you can head inside. Your tour ends at the famous Piazza del Campo, where the world renowned Palio horse race takes place every year and where the Palazzo Comunale is flanked by the tall Torre del Mangia. Enjoy some free time to amble along the city’s historic streets and have lunch.

From Siena we head out on the open road through vineyards and olive groves in the heart of Chianti territory to the ancient fortified hamlet of Monteriggioni. Characterised by its intact 13th century walls, walk within the restricted perimeter of the walls and discover a beautiful corner of Tuscany suspended in the Middle Ages.

We continue the tour to San Gimignano, also known as the “Manhattan of the Middle Ages” for its numerous and beautiful towers, where you have free time to visit the town.
