The Space Center opened in 1962 and was named in honor of President Kennedy after his assassination in 1963. Ever since, it has been a world of fun and excitement for all! The Visitors Complex has everything from real-life artifacts to fascinating exhibits to attractions on the history and future of human and robotic spaceflight.
This is so much more than a Museum! Space Shuttle Atlantis is one of three space-flown shuttles displayed in the United States. Space Shuttle Atlantis showcases the orbiter spacecraft and tells the story of NASA’s 30-year Space Shuttle Program, also includes more than 60 interactive exhibits celebrating the history, technology and impact of NASA’s Space Shuttle Program. Get a close-up view of Atlantis, the only space shuttle displayed in flight.

Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex ticket with option Astronaut Training Experience
In the Astronaut Training Experience (ATX), join the crew as you launch a mission simulation including launching, landing and walking on Mars and experience microgravity. ATX is a 5-hour program, beginning at 8:30am and 4:30pm on the dates available.
ATX is suitable for ages 10 and older. Trainees that are aged 10 - 17 will require a paying, participating adult

Go beyond the Kennedy Space Center Bus Tour, included with admission, with this Explore Tour, stopping to capture photo opportunities and view icons of NASA spaceflight operations. Tour availability and routes may be altered at any time with or without any notice due to operational requirements. Safety protocols require an alternate tour bus route during days leading up to a launch from Launch Complex 39A.
