Program details
It's an Independence Day holiday tradition as American as fireworks and barbecues. The Nascar Coke Zero 400 stock car race is one of the highlights of the Florida social and sporting calendar every year, with excitement at fever pitch come the first Saturday of July – and you can be there!
Join us for a night of speed, fireworks, passion, thrills, spills, emotion, patriotism and heroism, and be a part of an event that's produced some of the most dramatic moments in racing history. Then, after the race, witness one of the biggest fireworks displays in America. This is the perfect way to spend a summer night during one of the biggest parties of the year.
Prepare yourself for an ‘all-American’ extravaganza without equal. No one does love of country better than the Americans and the patriotic pre-race ceremonies featuring military heroes who have received the Medal of Honor and an emotional rendition of the national anthem. There is also a pre-race concert on the pit road before the green flag drops.
The race is called the 400 because the first driver to cross the line after 400 miles (640km) is the winner. The race consists of 160 two-and-a-half-mile laps under the floodlights.
Recent races have seen epic battles with tight finishes and wins spread out by popular drivers such as Tony Stewart, David Ragan and Kevin Harvick.
