The Schindler's Factory Museum is very popular among tourists. First of all because the tragic events that took place in Krakow during the Second World War are shown in Stephen Spielberg's oscar-winning film "Schindler's List".



Visit the extraordinary exhibition at the former German enamel factory that tells the story of Krakow and the fate of its Polish and Jewish inhabitants during World War II. Let yourself be introduced to the world of human fate, tragedy and everyday heroism.



During the tour, you will learn about the realities of living in multicultural Krakow during the war years under German occupation. Thanks to the collected documents, photos, artifacts combined with multimedia, in a short time and in a small space you will walk through the streets of that city, hear its sounds, see the ongoing life, touch history. In particular, you will visit the preserved office of the director of the Enamel factory, Oskar Schindler, and briefly learn about the history of him and his employees.



​​​​​The museum's atypical and modern exhibition will leave no one indifferent. Learn the story of a German entrepreneur who led many Jews through the war. The streets of Podgórze still keep evidence of those terrible events. You will see a part of the undestroyed wall around the ghetto, houses where thousands of displaced Jews used to live, the pharmacy "Under the Eagle", a monument with 68 chairs in the Heroes' Square in the ghetto.



Then, visit the largest and one of the most beautiful underground museums in the world. Learn about the hundreds of years of history of the Wieliczka Salt Mine on a not too long guided walk, hundreds of meters underground. Wieliczka - a small town 10 km from Krakow, where one of the largest ancient salt mines in Europe (700 years). The depth of the mine is 340 metres, the total length of corridors and tunnels is over 245 kilometres.



The tourist route is more than 3 km long and includes more than 20 halls, including the largest and unique St. Kinga's Church - the patroness of miners. The underground church is richly decorated with chandeliers, carvings and sculptures of saints carved out of salt. There is a special curative microclimate in the mine and at a depth of 135 m there is a sanatorium.



The salt mine in Wieliczka is on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
