Make your holiday even more special with a visit to the Maetaman Elephant Camp. Learning, feeding, walking, bathing, and playing in the mud with these gentle elephants is truly an unforgettable experience you won’t ever forget!The camp sits on more than 395 acres allowing the elephants a huge amount of land to live in. The heartfelt mission of the centre is to “rehab” disabled, elderly, and commercial elephants from a long life of unfair trade labor. Once you arrive at the camp, you’ll have the chance to see these majestic animals up close and personal.
You can feed and bathe (only if the option has been selected) these gentle creatures amidst some of the most breathtaking natural scenery you will ever see with your eyes!
These happy and free elephants love being pampered, walked with, and spoken to, not forgetting their favourite, a mud spa!

• Program A - 4-hour activities in camp
After being picked-up from the hotel, enjoy a scenic drive towards Maetaman Elephant Camp, where an unforgettable experience awaits.
Watch as the elephants wander around in their natural environment. Stay close to them and be able to capture this beautiful moment. This program allows you to experience the way elephants live in their natural habitat, without interfering with them.

• Program B - 6-hour activities in camp
Start this unforgettable experience as you are picked-up from the hotel and enjoy a scenic drive towards Maetaman Elephant Camp.
Rejoice in nature together with the elephants and take a gentle giant out for a walk, whilst they nourish themselves with what the jungle has to offer. After the walk, pamper the elephant and take part in their favorite activities, a mud spa and a bath in the local river. Practice your communication skills with the elephant (go ahead, turn left, turn right) and turn yourself into the perfect elephant nurse by learning physical examination routines and brewing up the best herbal vitamins for your elephant. And as with every good mahout, at the end of the day, you’ll make sure your elephant is showered and cleaned well behind the ears to have a good night's sleep!
