Beach chills and beautiful cafes are undoubtedly a big part of any Bali trip, but there are also plenty of unmissable opportunities for adventure. Few are more invigorating than a morning hike up an active volcano to catch the sunrise from the top. What could beat that?! (Don’t say sleep…)

We begin our adventure bright and early, picking you up from your accommodation and heading to the base to begin our Mount Batur tour. You’ll be in the best hands thanks to our experienced Balinese trekking guide who knows the terrain inside out. He’ll take you the quickest and safest route to the top where you’ll enjoy the sunrise with a tasty breakfast and warming beverage.

After learning about the thermal properties of Mount Batur volcano and exploring the deep craters and natural formations up top, we’ll begin the journey down. As it will be daylight by this time, you’ll get to admire views that were previously eclipsed including eerie charred landscapes of black sand and lava streams, as well as the legendary Mount Agung towering across the valley.

Before we return to your hotel, we’ll swing by the dreamy Tegalalang Rice Terraces for morning coffee (not for the option without transfers). You couldn’t pick a prettier place for it!

• with transfers - you will be picked up from your hotel.

• Private tour with transfers and hot spring - go to the Natural hot spring after the trek. In the hot spring, you will be given an hour to plunge into the hot spring which is believed to have healing effects on the body. Then, you will proceed to the Tegalalang rice terrace after the hot spring stop.

• Shared tour without transfers - You will need to use your own transport to get to the meeting point. The tour lasts 7 hours. 

Meeting point

If you choose the option ''shared tour without transfer'', you will need to make your own way to the following location. Your tour will end at the same location, too.
