City Climb is the highest open-air building ascent in the world. Climbers scale the outside of a skyscraper more than 1,200 feet above the ground, then lean out and look down from the highest outdoor platform in New York City.
• The experience is located above Edge at the crown of 30 Hudson Yards.
• Guests traverse open edged platforms and stairways that range from almost 1,200 feet to 1,271 feet in
the air.
• After ascending 32 steps from Basecamp to The Cliff, where they look down to the street below from
1,190 feet, climbers then approach The Stair which consists of 161 steps on an approximately 45 degree
incline before they reach The Apex at 1,271 feet where they will have the opportunity to lean out and hang
over the platform.
• There are 370 steps throughout the entire experience including ascent and descent.
• The experience lasts approximately 1.5- 2 hours from check-in to completing the course. Climbers spend
approximately 45 minutes on the course at the top of the building.
