Notte 1 e 7: AGADIR, prima e ultima notte all’Hotel Sud Bahia, Rue des Administration Publique - Agadir (Tel  +212 5288-21125). Struttura categoria 3*, semplice ma confortevole e dotato di piscine, spa, palestra, wi-fi, ristorante di cucina tipica, bar. Si trova a circa 30 km dall’aeroporto internazionale di Agadir e ad un paio di km dai principali punti di interesse. 

Notte 2: Auberge Oasis Massa

Notte 3:Riad Assounfou

Notte 4: TIZNIT, Hotel Tiznit, Rue Bir Anzarane, (tel.+212 5288-62411). Piccola struttura confortevole in stile arabo.

Notte 5: Auberge Tattart Aglou

EQUIPAGGIAMENTO: sella inlgese da trekking con tasche per le borracce d’acqua

CAVALLI: cavalli arabi-berberi. Un incrocio che prende il meglio delle due razze, leggero e resistente è un ottimo cavallo per percorrere lunghe distanze anche alle temperature desertiche

ANDATURA: circa 6/8 ore in sella (fino a 50km al giorno). Si utilizzeranno le tre andature a seconda del terreno, lunghi galoppi. Si richiede il controllo del cavallo negli spazi aperti, una buona condizione fisica

COSA PORTARE: Preferibile una valigia morbida. Abbigliamento da equitazione, un impermeabile leggero ed un pile per l’escursione termica notturna. Scarpe da trekking leggere (tenete presente che potreste dover camminare un po', quindi le scarpe devono essere comode, casco, borraccia, cappello, occhiali da sole, crema solare. Medicinali di prima necessità

Program

Day 1:
Those who love exploring the world on horseback have surely thought about an adventure in Morocco...with this itinerary, we offer you a horseback adventure on a circular route starting from Agadir. The beginning of this adventure will be the fertile Souss Valley, an area famous for the production of Argan oil, reaching the town of Tiznit, known as "the silver city." Built in 1882 by Sultan Moulay Al Hassan, it has a Medina surrounded by 6 kilometers of walls, and in its souks, you will find beautiful silver jewelry. Its craftsmanship is famous, and in the silver workshops, you can buy engraved silver objects and inlaid weapons, especially daggers and sabers. Long gallops on sandy tracks will lead us through deserted areas, inhabited only by hundreds of cacti creating intricate mazes. On one side, a fertile valley rich in plantations, on the other, an arid and rocky land that reaches the Atlantic coast. We will meet Berber women in their colorful clothes, sand dunes, and herds. On the deserted beaches washed by the Ocean, we will gallop breathlessly, driven by the enthusiasm and vigor of our horses. An experience for experienced riders who have the stamina to spend many hours in the saddle on very different terrains. At the end of this adventure, if time permits, it is worth spending some time in Agadir, appreciated for its very long beach, which is among "the most beautiful bays in the world," among the alleys of the noisy souk, the Medina, or visiting a thalassotherapy center.

ITALY/AGADIR (-/-/D) Arrival in Agadir and transfer on your own to the Sud Bahia Hotel. The meeting with our correspondent is scheduled for 20:00 at the hotel for dinner and a program presentation. Overnight stay at the hotel in a standard double room.

Day 2:
AGADIR / MASSA (B/L/D) After breakfast, departure by car to the starting point where the horses are waiting for us, about 40 km outside Agadir. Once in the saddle, we will cross the fertile Souss Valley, whose sandy roads will allow long gallops. We will pass through an agricultural area and small villages. Dinner and overnight stay in a hotel.

Day 3:
MASSA / SOUSS PLAIN (B/L/D) Endless sandy tracks characterize these areas, where people mostly live from pastoralism. At times, you will see locals watching the group with curiosity... it's not every day that they see horses and riders in these parts! Dinner and overnight stay in a hotel.

Day 4:
SOUSS PLAIN / TIZNIT (B/L/D) Today we will leave the fertile Souss Plain to enter the rocky hills dotted with cacti and thorny bushes. In this region, the Berbers live mainly from the production of Argan oil, which has become very popular in cosmetics in recent years. For lunch, we will stop near a lake among the mountains. In the late afternoon, we will leave the horses and move for dinner and overnight stay in a hotel in Tiznit, built in 1882 by Sultan Moulay Al Hassan of the Alaouite Dynasty, an Arab stronghold against the Berber populations. Famous for its silver craftsmanship and its Medina, which we will have time to visit.

Day 5:
TIZNIT (B/L/D) After breakfast, we return to the horses, riding to the top of the Tachilla hills. The landscape varies between sand dunes and rocky plains crossed by canyons. Dinner and overnight stay in a hotel.

Day 6:
TIZNIT / ATLANTIC COAST (B/L/D) After breakfast, we will reach the horses and ride towards the Atlantic coast, crossing rows of cacti until we feel the ocean breeze. There will be no shortage of gallops on the beach before stopping for a picnic lunch with a sea view. Dinner and overnight stay in a hotel.

Day 7:
ATLANTIC COAST / AGADIR (B/L/D) In the morning, we will ride along the coast, occasionally venturing among the sand dunes that border the sea with the possibility of launching the horses into a real run along the deserted beach. Lunch break in an eucalyptus forest before returning to civilization. We will say goodbye to the horses and return by car to Agadir, where we will have the last dinner and overnight stay in a hotel.

Day 8:
AGADIR / ITALY (B/-/-) Breakfast and transfer on your own to the airport in time for your return flight.

ACCOMMODATION: Hotel EQUIPMENT: ENGLISH TREKKING SADDLE with pockets for water bottles
HORSES: ARAB-BERBERS, a crossbreed that takes the best of both breeds, light and resistant, an excellent horse for long distances even in desert temperatures.
PACE: FROM 6 to 8 HOURS ON HORSEBACK (up to 50 km per day). The three gaits will be used depending on the terrain, long gallops. Control of the horse in open spaces and good physical condition are required.
WHAT TO BRING: Preferably a soft suitcase. Riding clothes, a light rain jacket, and a fleece for nighttime temperature drops. Light trekking shoes (keep in mind you might need to walk a bit, so the shoes must be comfortable), helmet, water bottle, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen. Basic medications.

A 3* category structure, simple but comfortable, with a pool, spa, gym, wi-fi, restaurant with typical cuisine, bar. Located about 30 km from Agadir International Airport and a couple of kilometers from the main points of interest.
Night 2: Auberge Oasis Massa, simple structure with private bathroom
Night 3: Auberge Assounfou, traditional-style structure with private bathroom
Night 4 and 5: TIZNIT, Hotel Tiznit, Rue Bir Anzarane, (tel. +212 5288-62411). Small, comfortable structure in Arab style. Pool and wi-fi available. Night 6: Auberge La Dune, traditional-style structure with panoramic balcony and private bathroom. Wi-fi available at the bar.
