Program
Day 1:
Italy – Istanbul
Arrival at the airport where you will be welcomed by our assistant at the point already communicated previously in the Travel Guide, you will be directly taken to the hotel. Free meals. Overnight stay.
Day 2:
Istanbul (Breakfast)
After breakfast at the hotel, meet with the guide and depart for the discovery of the Topkapi Palace, the imperial palace of the Ottoman Sultans and their court, where you can admire their treasures and discover the most interesting aspects of the daily life of an imperial court. We continue towards the Underground Cistern, a large underground space used in ancient times as a
cistern and which today with its ancient and majestic columns is considered one of the most evocative places in the city.
You will then go down to the sea first for a nice fish-based lunch in one of the classic restaurants under the Galata Bridge, taking advantage of one of the most iconic views in the world, and then to take a nice cruise on the Bosphorus, on one of the scheduled boats. Finally you will pass by the Spice Market.
We will immediately set off again towards the Byzantine Hippodrome, where you can admire many more relics of the ancient Roman Empire and then reach the Grand Bazaar and its thousands of shops. Here, in the largest and oldest indoor market in the world, you will have time to indulge in shopping. Return to the hotel. Free dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3:
Istanbul (Breakfast)
After breakfast at the hotel (an excellent and abundant breakfast is recommended, lunch this day will be around 2:00 pm) Meeting with the guide in the hotel lobby to begin a whole day discovering the wonders of
Istanbul. We will start by walking (the hotel is a short distance from the main attractions of the city) to the Blue Mosque (Sultanahmet) with its over twenty thousand turquoise ceramics; then you reach one of the most important monuments in Turkey and the world, Hagia Sophia, which, with its dome, defines the landscape of the entire city and finally you reach a fascinating place. Lunch in a restaurant to taste one of the most typical dishes of Turkish cuisine: Döner Kebab, one of the most famous "street foods" in the world, in the afternoon you will visit one of the most characteristic neighborhoods of the city: Fener-Balat, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to the Patriarchate of Constantinople and the Cathedral of St. George.
Day 4:
Istanbul (Breakfast)
After breakfast our drivers will pick you up at the hotel to take you to the airport for the return home.
