Program

Day 1:
Extremadura is one of the last unspoiled regions of Spain, a true paradise for horseback riding holidays thanks to the excellent state of conservation of its nature and the mild climate all year round. The Dehesa woodland area is the most emblematic landscape of this region and plays a crucial role in the great variety and diversity of bird species present, as well as the interesting historical and cultural sites it has to offer. Extremadura is considered one of the most important regions in Europe for birdlife and is among the most sought-after destinations for birdwatching enthusiasts and nature lovers from all over the world, attracted by the opportunity to observe birds in their natural habitat. The cultural heritage is equally important. We propose that you set off to discover the Monfragüe National Park: Monfragüe National Park is a wonderful place to visit for its Mediterranean flora and ornithology. It is difficult to access and covered by shrubland, making it the largest and best-preserved stretch of Mediterranean mountain landscape in the world. It is a typically Iberian landscape that hosts incredibly diverse flora and fauna.
