Program

Day 1:
Saturday: Naples or surroundings
Arrival in Naples and accomodation in one of the planned Hotels (check-in starts at 4:00 p.m.). Before dinner, meet with your guide. Welcome cocktail and presentation of the Tour. Dinner and Overnight stay.

Day 2:
Sunday: Island of Capri
Breakfast at the hotel. Depart by boat to the island of Capri, a wonderful expression of nature, history, and glamor. Visit of Villa San Michele. Free time for lunch on your own. In the afternoon, transfer to the Gardens of Augustus, where you will admire the famous Farallones and Marina Piccola. Free time and then meeting of the participants at the pier for the return. Dinner and overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 3:
Monday: Sorrento - Pompeii
Breakfast at the hotel and departure to Sorrento. Walk through the historical centre. We will stop at a renowned local factory for a Limoncello-making demonstration with a tasting, followed by a visit to a farm to enjoy typical local products and wine. In the afternoon, visit the ruins of Pompeii, the ancient city buried under ash during the eruption of 79 AD. Enjoy dinner at a traditional restaurant with live musical accompaniment known as "Posteggia”. Return to the hotel and overnight stay.

Day 4:
Tuesday: Naples - Rione Sanità - Catacombs of San Gennaro
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit of the historic center of Naples where we will admire the Church of Santa Clara and its cloister, the Cathedral of San Gennaro and the artisan shops of San Gregorio Armeno. Lunch during the excursion with pizza tasting and a traditional dish of Neapolitan cuisine. In the afternoon, guided visit to the Catacombs of San Gennaro and walk through the Rione Sanità. Transfer to the port of Naples and boarding for a night crossing to Palermo. Free dinner on board.

Day 5:
Wednesday: Erice - Marsala - Selinunte
Free breakfast on board. Arrival in Palermo, disembark and transfer to the tour. Departure to Erice, short visit of the town and small tasting of typical almond sweets. Continuation to Marsala and visit a winery with Wine tasting and light lunch. In the afternoon, there will be a visit to the eastern hill of Selinunte. Continuation to Agrigento, accommodation at the hotel and dinner. After dinner, enjoy the views of the illuminated Valley of the Temples. Return to the Hotel and Overnight stay.
Note: if it is not possible to reach the town of Erice due to road closures, a visit to Trapani will replace it without the small almond tasting.

Day 6:
Thursday: Agrigento (Valley Of The Temples) - Piazza Armerina
Breakfast at the hotel and visit the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento. Then departure to Piazza Armerina and Visit to the Roman Villa called “Del Casale”, famous for its mosaics. Traditional lunch inspired by the culinary traditions of Ancient Rome. Then, departure to the eastern part of the island and accommodation in one of the planned hotels. Dinner at the hotel and overnight stay

Day 7:
Friday: Etna - Catania
Breakfast at the hotel. Excursion to Mount Etna by coach, climbing up to 1900 meters. You will have the opportunity to walk along the Silvestri Craters and enjoy some free time. Conclude the excursion with a visit to a local winery for a tasting of fine wines and regional specialties. In the afternoon, continue to Catania for a walk through its historic center, followed by free time for shopping. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Note: in the case of adverse weather conditions, we will climb to a height of 700 meters and we will stop at Zafferana Etnea, where you can see the remains of the 1992 eruption.

Day 8:
Saturday: Eastern Sicily
Breakfast at the hotel and the end of our services.

Price includes

- GT coach and Tour Leader/ Regional guide from dinner on the day of arrival to the end of the excursion on the day before departure
- Full board from dinner on the day of arrival, at the hotel or partner restaurants, to breakfast on the day of departure. Traditional regional three-course menu and drinks included 1/4 liter of wine and 1/2 liter of mineral water per person
- Welcome cocktail
- Use of audio-receiving devices for the entire duration of the tour
- Accommodation in a 4-star hotel
- Typical gastronomic experiences and marine transfers as per the itinerary
- Drinks: 1/4 of wine + 1/2 of mineral water per person during meals/tastings
- Group transfer from the last hotel on the Campania tour to the port of Naples and from the port of Palermo to the Sicily tour
- Overnight ferry crossing Naples/Palermo on Tuesdays, with accommodation in an inside cabin
- Port taxes and booking fees for ferry crossings to Palermo
- Local guides: Capri, Naples, Pompeii Ruins, Selinunte, Valley of the Temples, Piazza Armerina
- Night bus tour to admire the Valley of the Temples illuminated at a scheduled time after dinner
- Entrance fees to sites and museums included in the program: Entrance fees to private sites (Villa San Michele, Gardens of Augustus, Cloister of Santa Chiara, e Catacombs of San Gennaro), Entrance fees to state sites (Pompeii Ruins), e Entrance fees to Sicily (Selinunte, Valley of the Temples, e Villa Romana del Casale)
