Depart Port Douglas in the morning for your once in a lifetime adventure to the spectacular Outer Great Barrier Reef aboard this modern, luxury vessel. The friendly crew will ensure you get the most out of your day snorkelling on the reef. Purpose built, AquaQuest boasts 3 large sun decks, 2 air-conditioned indoor saloons, a spacious dive deck, and a sunken platform for easy access in and out of the water.
This new vessel has everything you need to experience the Great Barrier Reef in unrivalled comfort and numbers are capped at 80 to ensure everybody has a great day. You will enjoy a light morning tea, afternoon tea of fruits, cheese and crackers, and a tropical buffet lunch including a selection of cold meats, salads and fruits. Complimentary tea, coffee and chilled water are served throughout the day (snacks, soft and alcoholic beverages are also available for purchase).
Snorkel option: If this is your first time snorkelling, don’t worry - it’s fun and safe for the whole family. You can see the best of the Great Barrier Ref just floating on the surface, including colourful coral, many fish species and other wildlife. Free guided snorkelling tours are available, meaning you won’t miss a thing. These free tours are great for those who aren’t as comfortable in the water. All of the snorkelling equipment required is supplied as part of your trip including a wetsuit or stinger suit.
Introductory dive option: Ever wanted to try your hand at diving? Immerse yourself in the Great Barrier Reef with an introductory dive led by an experienced and friendly instructor. No prior diving experience necessary! You will have the opportunity to dive at 1 of our 2 exclusive reef locations and snorkel at the other. Please note that this dive is subject to a medical declaration.
Certified dive option: As a certified diver, you will have the opportunity to dive twice at 2 exclusive reef locations across your day. Choose to go guided on non-guided during your time on the reef – it’s up to you. All diving equipment will be provided however please remember to bring your certification card and logbook on the day. You will be asked to fill out and sign an Advice to Divers Form. Please note that medical standards differ from country to country, certain medication / medical conditions may preclude you from diving in Australia.
Languages Schedule
The vessel offers multiple languages on certain days of the week:
- English and German - Monday to Sunday
- Spanish and Portuguese -Tuesday to Saturday
- Chinese - Tuesday to Saturday
- Japanese - Thursday to Monday

Certified Divers If you are a certified diver you will be asked to fill out and sign an Advice to Divers Form.
