Enjoy our guided tour of the Vatican Museums and visit the most extensive collection of art in the world jumping the line. Your expert guide will lead you into the museum where you will discover the treasures of this unique art collection: the Tapestries and the Maps Gallery, up to arrive to the Sistine Chapel with the Last Judgement by Michelangelo. After the tour, your guide will bring you into St. Peter’s Basilica through an exclusive entrance, avoiding long lines. At the end of the visit free time and at 2:30 pm reach our meeting point in Viale dei Bastioni di Michelangelo 21, to be transferred to the Coliseum to start the visit of the three famous symbols of Ancient Rome: Coliseum, Palatine Hill and the Roman Forum.
You will get an overview of the archaeological area and see the largest and best preserved triumphal arch in Rome: the Arch of Constantine. Then you will enter the Coliseum and, once inside, our guide will explain the fascinating shows that were held here, such as gladiators’ and animals’ fightings. You will continue up to the Palatine Hill, seat of the Emperor’s Palaces. From here you will enjoy a breathtaking view over the Forum and the Circus Maximus. Tour ends after the visit of the Roman Forum, the political and economic centre of the Empire.
