There are some steep stairs to climb down into the canyon, which is mostly below ground level.
Admission ticket for Upper Antelope Canyon. A-shaped canyon, easy 660 feet of walking, light beams often hit canyon floor April-August. It is the most easily accessible, walking on flat, sandy ground with walls going up around visitors
