Detalles del programa

Grouse Mountain is Vancouver’s most-visited year-round natural attraction. Ride the scenic Skyride to the alpine and enjoy an incredible variety of activities such as the Lumberjack Show, Birds in Motion, Ranger Talks at the Grizzly Bear Habitat, Eco-Walks and more in the summer.

Skyride: High above towering Douglas firs, breathtaking views of the city of Vancouver, sparkling Pacific Ocean, Gulf Islands, and snowy peaks unfold as you journey up the mountainside. North America's largest aerial tramway system is your gateway to the majestic nature of The Peak of Vancouver, and an experience in itself. Whether you're in search of the perfect photo, or a romantic dinner at The Observatory, your adventure begins with the Skyride.

Peak Chairlift: Soaring to an altitude of 4,100 feet above sea level, our scenic Peak Chairlift will transport you to the apex of Grouse Mountain in a ride time of fourteen minutes. At the summit, be amazed by a spectacular panorama that reveals the beauty and scale of Vancouver, and the grandeur of the Pacific Ocean as it graces the coastline for as far as the eye can see.

Birds In Motion: For thousands of years, man has been captivated by the effortless flight of birds of prey. From the aerial majesty of a Golden Eagle soaring on the thermals to the breathtaking rush of a Peregrine Falcon diving from the sky, these birds have captured our hearts and imaginations. Now Grouse Mountain, in cooperation with the Pacific Northwest Raptors, invites you to witness some of nature's finest athletes demonstrate what they do best - "free flight".

World-Famous Lumberjack Show: Grouse Mountain’s Lumberjack Show features a crew of champion performers showcasing their skills atop Grouse Mountain. An impressive outdoor set features two logging camps from the early 1900s, where Johnny Nelson from the Green River logging camp prepares to battle Willie McGee from Blue Mountain to determine the top lumberjack. The 45-minute show offers fast-paced entertainment and features log rolling, a 60-foot tree climb, two-man peg and raker saws, axe throwing, and an exciting springboard chop - the only three-board event in North America. Runs from May long weekend through to the October long weekend.

Ranger Talks: How do you know when Grizzly Bears are playing or when they really mean business? Why do ravens hover in the sky more at certain times of the day? Our rangers know. Included in your Mountain Admission Ticket are talks by our wildlife experts.

Guided Eco-Walks: Learn about local flora and fauna, the history of Grouse Mountain, and the local geology of the North Shore mountains. Departing from the large map kiosk outside the Chalet, this 45-minute walk with a knowledgeable Grouse Mountain guide will take you across the mountain plateau and the serene Blue Grouse Lake area, home of the híwus feast house and cultural centre.
