Detalles del programa

Cycle through some of Koh Samui’s famous spots as you explore the island and learn about its history, culture, and religion from our friendly guide.

We’ll start our trip with pick up from your accommodations before heading to our trusted bicycle shop for a briefing and personalized bicycle fitting. Your instructor will make sure you have the most appropriate bike as well as brief you on the safety and traffic rules of the area.

Once you’re all set, we’ll head to our first destination of the day, Bang Rak Market. This fresh market is where the locals go to get their produce. You’ll see everything from fresh seafood to a wide array of spices used in many resorts all over Koh Samui. Spend some time taking in the sights and smells (and maybe even buy a few things) before we head on to our next stop.

The Big Buddha is a large temple complex on the northeastern side of Koh Samui. Known for its massive 12-meter Buddha statue atop a flight of stairs, we’ll explore the temple grounds, take photos of the imposing shrine, and marvel at the surrounding views.

Our next stop is another colourful temple complex, Wat Plai Laem, where you’ll find two other large and looming statues. One is of Guanyin – the 18-armed goddess of mercy and compassion – and another of a large laughing monk. Listen as your guide explains the use of both Chinese and Thai architecture, which makes Wat Plai Laem stand out.

After visiting two temples, we’ll make our way to Choeng Mon Beach for some R&R. Relax on the sandy shores, take a quick dip in the clear waters, or stroll along the stretch of coastline before we head to our next stop.

We’ll end our cycling tour at the famous Fisherman’s Village, known for its myriad stalls and kiosks perfect for souvenir shopping and enjoying a good meal. We’ll have a hearty lunch to replenish ourselves before we make our way back to the bicycle shop, and from there, your accommodations.
