Programa
Day 1:
Saturday: Eastern Sicily
Arrival in Catania and meet at the hotel (check-in starts at 4:00 p.m.). Before dinner, you meet with your guide and have a presentation of the tour. Dinner and hotel stay in the Catania, Giardini Naxos, or surrounding area.
Day 2:
Sunday: Eastern Sicily/Syracuse/Noto/Eastern Sicily
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit of the historic center (Ortigia) with the Temple of Minerva and the Arethusa Fountain. The archaeological area with the Greek Theater, the Roman Amphitheater, the Latomie and the Ear of Dionysus. Free time for lunch on your own. In the afternoon, walk through Noto, an authentic jewel of Sicilian baroque architecture. Return to the hotel in the Catania, Giardini Naxos or surrounding area and enjoy dinner.
Day 3:
Monday: Eastern Sicily/Giarre/Catania/Palermo or surrounding area
Breakfast at the hotel. Next, depart to Giarre to visit the Radicepura Botanical Park, which extends over an area of 5 hectares and preserves more than 3,000 plants. Then depart to Catania and walk through the historic center. Enjoy a small snack on the streets of Catania [depending on the season, it could be an “arancina” (fried rice ball typical of the area), an ice cream, a granita, etc.]. Free time for lunch on your own. Departure to the western area, accommodation in a hotel in the Palermo area or surroundings and have dinner.
Day 4:
Tuesday: Palermo/Monreale/Cefalù/Palermo or surrounding area
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Monreale, visit the Cathedral and the Benedictine Cloister. Return to Palermo and have a walking tour of the historic center featuring the Palermo Cathedral, the “Four Canti”, and Pretoria Square with the famous “Fountain of Shame”. Visit one of the many historic residences of former local nobility that have been sources of inspiration for many films of national and international renown. Departure to Cefalù, free time for lunch on your own during the excursion while visiting this famous and beautiful coastal town. Free time and then return to the hotel for dinner.
Day 5:
Wednesday: Palermo/Erice/Marsala/Selinunte/Agrigento or surrounding area
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Erice, orientation tour of the town and small tasting of typical almond sweets. Continuation to Marsala and visit a winery with a small tasting. Free time for lunch on your own and in the afternoon there will be a visit to the eastern hill of Selinunte. Continuation to Agrigento, accommodation at the hotel in Agrigento or surrounding area and dinner. After dinner, departure by coach to enjoy the views of the illuminated Valley of the Temples.
Day 6:
Thursday: Agrigento/Piazza Armerina/Eastern Sicily
Breakfast at the hotel and visit the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento. Then departure to Piazza Armerina and free time for lunch on your own. Visit to the Roman Villa called “Del Casale” famous for its mosaics. Then, departure to the eastern part of the island and accommodation in the Catania area, Giardini Naxos or surroundings. Dinner at the hotel.
Day 7:
Friday: Eastern Sicily/Etna/Taormina/Eastern Sicily
Breakfast at the hotel. Excursion to Etna in a coach to climb to 1900 mt. From that point there is the option to ascend further (with direct payment supplement) by all-terrain bus and authorized guide to visit the main craters. Small tasting of local honey and free time for lunch on your own. In the afternoon visit Taormina and its Ancient Theater. Free time. Return to the hotel in the Catania area, Giardini Naxos or surroundings and dinner.
Day 8:
Saturday: Eastern Sicily
Breakfast at the hotel and the end of our services.

Llegada a Catania y acomodación en el hotel de la localidad prevista (entrega de las habitaciones a partir de las 16:00). Antes de la cena, encuentro con nuestro guía acompañante y presentación del circuito. Cena y alojamiento zona Catania, Giardini Naxos o alrededores y cena.
Día 2:
Domingo: Sicilia oriental/Siracusa/Noto/Sicilia oriental
Desayuno en el hotel. Visita del centro histórico (Ortigia) con el Templo de Minerva y la Fuente de Arethusa. La zona arqueológica con el Teatro Griego, el Anfiteatro Romano, las Latomie y la Oreja de Dionisio. Almuerzo libre durante la excursión. Por la tarde, paseo por Noto, auténtica joya del barroco siciliano. Regreso al hotel en zona Catania, Giardini Naxos o alrededores y cena.
Día 3:
Lunes: Sicilia oriental/Giarre/Catania/Palermo o alrededores
Desayuno en el hotel. A continuación, salida hacia Giarre para la visita del Parque Botánico de Radicepura que se extiende sobre un área de 5 hectáreas y conserva más de 3.000 plantas. A continuación salida hacia Catania y paseo por el centro histórico. Desayuno en el hotel. Salida hacia Monreale, visita de la Catedral y del Claustro de los Benedictinos. Regreso a Palermo visita a pie del centro histórico con la Catedral de Palermo, los “Cuatro Canti, la Plaza Pretoria con la famosa “Fuente de la Vergüenza”. Visita a una de las muchas residencias históricas de la antigua nobleza local que han sido fuentes de inspiración para muchas películas de renombre nacional e internacional. Salida hacia Cefalù, almuerzo libre durante la excursión y visita de esta famosa y preciosa localidad costera. Tiempo libre y, al finalizar, regreso al hotel y cena.
Día 5:
Miércoles: Palermo/Erice/Marsala/Selinunte/Agrigento o alrededores
Desayuno en el hotel. Salida hacia Erice, visita orientativa de la población y pequeña degustación de dulces típicos de almendra. Continuación hacia Marsala y visita a una bodega con pequeña degustación. Almuerzo libre durante la excursión y por la tarde visita de la colina oriental de Selinunte. Continuación hacia Agrigento, acomodación en el hotel en zona Agrigento o alrededores y cena. Después de la cena salida en autocar para disfrutar de las vistas del Valle de los Templos iluminado.
Día 6:
Jueves: Agrigento/Piazza Armerina/Sicilia oriental
Desayuno en el hotel y visita al Valle de los Templos de Agrigento. A continuación salida hacia Piazza Armerina y almuerzo libre durante la excursión. Visita a la Villa Romana denominada “Del Casale” famosa por sus mosaicos. A continuación, salida hacia la parte oriental de la isla y alojamiento en zona Catania, Giardini Naxos o alrededores. Cena en el hotel.
Día 7:
Viernes: Sicilia oriental/Etna/Taormina/ Sicilia oriental
Desayuno en el hotel. Excursión al Etna con subida en autocar hasta los 1900 mt. y posibilidad de ascender (con suplemento de pago directo) en bus todo terreno y guía autorizado para visitar los cráteres principales. Pequeña degustación de miel de la zona y almuerzo libre durante la excursión. Por la tarde visita de Taormina y su Teatro Antiguo. Tiempo libre a disposición. Regreso al hotel en zona Catania, Giardini Naxos o alrededores y cena.
Día 8:
Sábado: Sicilia Oriental
Desayuno en el hotel y fin de nuestros servicios.
