Experience a new way to enjoy the agriculture, livestock and food of the Canary Islands at Granje Verde, located in the heart of the Orotava Valley.

More than 150 types of crops and native animal breeds are the stars of La Granja Verde, where 10,000m2 showcases Canarias agriculture and livestock. Stroll through the farm, where you’ll find an important fruit and vegetable patches, fruit tree orchards, vegetables as well as aromatic and medicinal plants.


At La Granja Verde you also have the chance to discover different native animal species, of which many are in threat of extinction. Apart from goats, sheep, black pigs and other island species, you’ll find typical farm animals such as chickens, rabbits and llamas. If you choose the entry with a walk included, you can enjoy a camel or pony ride.


Gastronomy makes up a big part of the farm, where you have two restaurants serving produce from the farm’s very own fruit and vegetable patches. Include the menu option with your entry and delight in high quality food.

Duration: 1 hour approximately.

Start/opening time: From Monday to Sunday at 10am.

End/closing time: From November to March at 5pm. From April to October at 6pm.

Others: Last camel ride at 4pm. If you choose the entry only option, you will receive 10% discount at all the restaurants in La Granja Verde.
