Enjoy a thrilling white-water rafting adventure in Barron River rapids. Its the best way to get a break from the tropical heat!



Self Drive to Lake Placid Car Park and meet your guides. Guests will be transfered to the top of the Barron Gorge where you will be supplied with equipment (helmet, life jacket and paddle). Guides will provide an important safety briefing.



Experience 2 hours of adventure, tackling garde 2 and 3 rapids (no previous experience necessary) while you cruise through the Barron Gorge National Park. Try raft surfing (dependant on water levels) and then cool off with a swim in Lake Placid at the end of the tour.



Arrive at Lake Placid Caravan Park and change into dry clothes. Quick refreshment stop (tea and coffee provided) and you will have the opportunity to view and purchase photos.
