Start the day with a visit to the Everglades for the awesome airboat ride. Hold on to your hats and keep your hands inside the boat as you come face to face with some real Florida locals: the alligators, and see the Everglades in a way only possible on an airboat. Weave through the watery park also known as the ‘River of Grass’. Perhaps you will get a toothy smile from an American crocodile, one of 14 rare or endangered species in the Everglades. You then get to participate in an alligator handling show for some great photo opportunities.Afterwards, head to Miami's South Beach, Florida’s famous ‘melting pot’, to explore the magnificent Art Deco district with is beautiful pastel-coloured architecture. Maybe top up your tan at the renowned South Beach and be sure to sample the traditional cuisine available in any one of the more than 100 restaurants.
Miami's exclusive Bayside shopping district is the final stop on the itinerary. Here you can browse the many designer stores and boutiques before boarding the wonderful Star Island boat for a relaxing cruise of Biscayne Bay that take in sights such as the houses of the rich and famous.
