The visit takes place on the Brazilian side and begins with a video presented in a movie theater at the Visitors' Center, which tells the story of the construction of the dam. The video lasts about 10 minutes. Accompanied by a guide, the tour continues on a double-decker bus outside the dam, with three stops for a panoramic view. In addition to the privileged view of the spillway at the top of the dam, the route also allows contact with nature and beautiful landscapes inside the Itaipu Tourist Complex.



We ended up moving from one country to another, since the plant is located in Brazil and Paraguay. The Itaipu Dam is 7,919 meters long and 196 meters high and is a world leader in the production of clean and renewable energy. The tour ends passing next to the plant, and over the dam where the visitor can contemplate the view of the Itaipu lake. Ideal for the whole family.
