Il programma nel dettaglio
You will have the option to choose the day you want to visit the Chichen Itzá archaeological zone, you can inform this when making the reservation.
The name means '' at the mouth of the well of the Itzás '', and it is the most visited archaeological site in Mexico, a magnificent sample of the Mayan culture. The highlight of the site is the Kukulkan Pyramid, known as El Castillo. On this excursion, you will be able to walk around the pyramid, see it from all angles and admire the work that went into the construction of this magnificent pyramid.
The building has been in place since the time of the Maya and is a fascinating example of their culture. Mesoamerican cultures sometimes built larger pyramids on top of smaller ones, and this is the case at El Castillo, where an excavation uncovered a temple with an elaborate jaguar throne.
Of course, there are also natural beauties to see in Chichén Itzá, such as the Sacred Cenote, an impressive entrance through a sink into a body of underground water 60 meters in diameter.
