Il programma nel dettaglio
The transfer in and out is the best receptive in town. Embark on this adventure in an air-conditioned, safe, and super hygienic environment, not to mention that the
whole trip is accompanied by a specialized guide in Foz do Iguacu.
• Day 1 - Arival to Foz do Iguaçu
Arrival to Foz do Iguaçu Airport and transfer to the hotel.
• Day 2 - Itaipu Dam Panoramic Tour and Transfers to Duty Free Shopping Mall
On the second day, the visit to Itaipu Dam takes place on the Brazilian side and starts with a video shown in a movie theater at the Visitors' Center, which tells the story of the dam's construction. The video is about 10 minutes long.
Accompanied by a guide, the tour takes
a double-decker bus around the outside of the dam with three stops for a panoramic view. Besides the privileged view of the spillway at the top of the dam, the trip also allows contact with nature and beautiful scenery inside the Itaipu Tourist Complex. We ended up going from one country to another, since the power plant is in Brazil and also in Paraguay.
The Itaipu Dam is 7,919 meters long and 196 meters high, and is a world leader in the production of clean, renewable energy. The tour ends beside the power plant and over the dam, where visitors can enjoy the view of the Itaipu Lake. Ideal for the whole family.
In the afternoon we enjoy the
Duty Free shopping mall on the border of Argenta and Brazil, which has a wide variety of stores and sophisticated brands.
